Abstract

 

The 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) results show that the majority of the Indonesian population (94.7%) have good tooth brushing habits, meaning they brush their teeth every day. However, unfortunately, only 2.8% of them brush their teeth at the correct times, which is at least twice a day after breakfast in the morning and at night before bed. Based on preliminary data regarding tooth brushing knowledge among third-grade students at SDN Nawangan 1, most students fall into the low knowledge category. The problem in this study is the lack of knowledge about tooth brushing among third-grade students at SDN Nawangan 1. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge about tooth brushing using a modified snakes and ladders game as a medium among third-grade students at SDN Nawangan 1. The type of research used is descriptive, with a total of 35 student respondents. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. The data analysis involved calculating the average percentage and presenting it in tabular form.The results of the study showed that the students' level of knowledge about tooth brushing falls into the good category. The conclusion of this study is that the level of knowledge about tooth brushing among third-grade students at SDN Nawangan 1 is in the good category.
