Keywords:

Maintaining good oral hygiene in elementary school children is important for their overall health. A study at SDN Jajar Tunggal III Surabaya showed a poor average Oral Hygiene Index Score of 2.8 among third graders. The research aimed to assess students' understanding of oral hygiene before and after using a board game for education. With 40 participants, the study found that knowledge about toothbrushing, diet, oral hygiene products, chewing evenly, and dental check-ups improved significantly after the intervention. This highlights the effectiveness of using board games to teach dental health in schools.
